"Chaos At Its Heels"
In “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” there is a classroom scene where a grey haired, bespectacled teacher stands in front of his blackboard and teaches economics in a long drawn out, dull tone to a classroom full of uninterested students. The camera pans to each student, staring up at their teacher glassy-eyed (and asleep), as he asks questions and requests an answer with “Anyone? Anyone?”, to which he knows he is not going to garner any reply so he just carries on regardless.
It is a hilarious scene, which sadly enough, is probably true of most classrooms since the beginning of modern education.
