When I take photographs, I use an artists eye. I look for light and shadow, effective lines and interesting compositions. The subject matter I usually find in post-production of the images, or sometimes not at all. I'm not a photographer, I dabble in taking photographs (digitally and using 35mm or 120 film) but they serve a purpose for me to use as inspiration for drawings or paintings and to train my eye in seeing as an artist.
My photography inspirations are Bill Brandt, Vivian Maier and Laszlo Maholy-Nagy.
I use a Yashica FX-2 with a 50mm lens, a Lubitel 166b and a Canon 1300D with a 50mm lens.
